Mark Holland
was joined by animal welfare groups to demand that the
Harper government introduce legislation, identical to his
bill C-373, that strengthens animal cruelty laws (see
news release). The video clip above captures
the first six minutes of the press conference. Mark is
seated with, from left, Hugh Coghill, Chief Inspector for
Ontario SPCA, Dr. Diane Frank of Canadian Veterinary
Medical Association, Kim Elmslie of International Fund for
Animal Welfare, and Shelagh MacDonald of Canadian Federation
of Humane Societies.
